It features 20 carats (20.06cts) of natural Diamonds that are claw set in platinum. The necklace dates around the 1940’s and probably combines old jewellery to create this ‘statement’ piece.

The Diamonds are a combination of old cut and round brilliant cut and they vary in colour from H-J and clarity VS1-I1 as assessed by the valuer. I think some diamonds would be considered tinged light brown and we have tried to depict this in the photos.

The Diamonds graduate in size from the back to the front and they travel completely around the whole neck.

The piece is secured by a hinged clip with figure eight safety clasp and it measures 42cms. It is beautifully made to sit perfectly around the collar bone of the neck as worn by many celebrities at the moment.

Included in the sale is a valuation certificate with a Retail Replacement Value of $36,000. This is a solid piece that weighs approx 19.50 grams (platinum) and is in very good, vintage condition.
