A lovely Antique Stick Pin, Tie, Lapel, Brooch - All the way from UK!

This unique pin features a little, fiery red, solid opal that is set in 15ct yellow gold.  Although it's small, the opal is truly stunning and flashes bright red from all angles!  The pin itself has a twist in the centre and is made of brass with a nice sharp point.  

It was manufactured by E. H. Mason of Middlesbrough, UK and it comes in the original box which is included in this sale.  It is stamped 15ct but there is no date mark or makers stamp on the piece.  E. H. Mason apparently operated as a jeweller and watchmaker in the 1800's and the business was renamed at some point to 'Mason & Son' which closed in 1927.  It is therefore likely, that this piece is early 1900's.  

The piece measures approximately 6cms in length and it is in excellent, vintage condition (no cleaning has been carried out to this stickpin).
