ART DECO 9CT ROSE GOLD AND SILVER LINED LARGE BANGLE C1920s
ART DECO 9CT ROSE GOLD AND SILVER LINED LARGE BANGLE C1920s
A wonderful vintage rose gold Slave Bangle from the Art Deco era, c1920's. Made of 9ct rose gold and silver lined for longevity, the huge bangle is designed to be worn below the elbow on the upper forearm. A “must have” during the Art Deco/Jazz era, a slave bangle was often seen on the bare arm of a woman dressed in an evening or summer dress.
The bangle has a gorgeous rose gold hue and a smooth surface for a comfy fit. The bangle is stamped "9CT SIL LINED" along with the makers mark ‘F. JC’. The large-sized bangle measures approximately 7.2cms in diametre. The piece is in very good antique condition with just a few little dents and bangs which we have tried to capture in the photos. It obviously meant something special to the original owner.
A timeless and versatile bangle, whether holding up a sleeve or worn as a classic wrist bangle stacked with others or alone! You’re going to love it!
