A Lovely Example of Victorian Silver Jewellery

This Victorian name brooch is hand crafted in sterling with the name ‘Mary’ pierced through the silver. There is some lovely flower and leaf motifs above and below the name. The piece has no hallmarks. Circa 1895, it is thought to have been made in Birmingham.

Mary is in very good antique condition with just the small stem separating from the big leaf at the top. The hook and pin are in good condition for age and the brooch measures approximately 3.5cms in diametre.
