A Lovely Example of Victorian Silver Jewellery

This Victorian name brooch is hand crafted in sterling with the name ‘Bessie’ pierced through the silver. There is some lovely detail of a bird above and a fish below with flower and leaf motifs. It is stamped ‘sterling silver’ but it doesn’t have any other hallmarks. Circa 1895, it is thought to have been made in Birmingham.

The brooch, hook and pin are in excellent condition and it is a good size measuring approximately 4cms in diametre.
