This Victorian brooch is set with Turquoise and Seed Pearls in 9ct gold curb link chain. It is hallmarked 9ct and the makers mark G.V & Co.
G.V&Co Gourdel Vales & Co. Business established in Paris in 1820 by Constant Valès (until 1865), continued as Gourdel Vales & Co (1865-1930) and Gourdel Vales & Co Ltd (until 1939). They traded from Great Marlborough Street, London.
The brooch has a push C clasp with a safety chain which works as expected. It measures approximately 4cms in length and 1cm wide and it weighs 4 grams.
