This Round Brilliant Cut Diamond is 1 carat (.98ct) and really clean.  It is certified by Gem Studies Laboratory (GSL) and the report is included in the sale. It also comes with and Australian Valuation Certificate with a Retail Replacement Value of $10,490 (all grades are approximate).

GSL was founded over 30 years ago and today it has become the best known, fully operating independent diamond certification and gem identification laboratory in Australia.  Reports provided by GSL are recognised and respected the world over. 

This diamond was graded by Bill Sechos (a GSL head Diamond grader and Lecturer) as being: Clarity SI1 and colour M, however, the colour of this diamond presents very white in real life. The independent valuer graded it VS1 and colour L-M. The only inclusion I can see it a tiny, tiny flaw right on the edge of the girdle. You need strong magnification to be able to see it.  The Diamond is slightly coloured grey, but again, you really can't notice this when you see it in real life. Ask to take a look so you can assess for yourself.

It is very difficult to photograph Diamonds because their sparkle throws the focus out and these photos really don't do this beautiful stone justice.  I promise, you will be thrilled when you see it, especially at this price!
