It features lovely, Australian solid Opals that are set in 15ct yellow gold stems to look like sprays of flowers. The Precious Opals vary in colour from pinkish-red to greenish-blue giving the effect of stylised flower petals on one side, with leaves on the other. It really is a very pretty piece.

The brooch is secured snuggly by a gold pin and C clasp. It is a large piece that measures approximately 6.5cms x 3cms and it looks spectacular when pinned onto a dark coloured outfit. The brooch is Circa 1940s and it is marked with the makers name 'Proud' and stamped 15ct. It comes with a valuation certificate with a Retail Replacement Value of $4,500.
